LITERACY COUNCIL BOOKFAIR
NOVEMBER 22, 2008 9AM TO 10PM
Just in time for Christmas shopping, the Literacy Council is having a “bookfair” at Barnes & Noble in the Midland Mall on Nov. 22, the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
A portion of the sales in the store and café that day will go towards literacy. The Literacy Council will use the proceeds to buy books for learners and other teaching materials that they need.
Simply, tell the bookseller that you are shopping for the Literacy Council, and they will receive credit for your purchases. Spread the word to your friends and neighbors to do their bookstore shopping on Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
